About the project

Integrated campaign giving NASCAR fans the ability to trick out their vehicles with pre-loaded graphics, paint brushes and add their own graphics and potentially see their design appear on a real car—one grand prize winner, decided by online vote, will see his/her design come to life at the All Star Race. The campaign launched during the Daytona 500.

My role

As the art director I directed the design with the talented RESN team and also jumped in and designed logos, cars and the print ads. We concepted various media units and also different ways to keep the campaign alive after the competition ended. For print, I came up with concepts, visuals and (seemingly endless) layouts.

The Case Study

The campaign included at the core a website, broadcast, and print.
In the first month we received over 70,000 designed cars.

Site Overview

The site consisted of 3 main sections and the idea
was simple for fans to follow; Design. Enter. Win.

The Print

We created print ads starring two of Toyota's drivers
to coincide with the broadcast.
